This is my second week working on this sketch up of my classroom. We tried our best to estimate the measurements in the classroom which includes the windows and the doors. We used the tape measure to guide lines for the windows and doors. We used the push/pull too to take out the face of the windows and the doors. Then we use move tool to move the wall for a window to move it out and we will make a detailed window and put it back. So this picture shows my progress, as you can see the windows and doors are “gone” but it will be back with details soon. Again, I am looking forward to complete the windows and doors. 😀 
SKETCH UP: Room 217 ( Week 1)
We are now working on sketch up. Sketch up is usually for making three dimensional objects on the computer. We are making a model of our class room. This week we only made the floor. Though its just a floor, its not as simple as you think. We need to make something like and outline of how the class room will look like. Since our classroom has pillars we also have to put that into the floor before pulling the floor to make walls. In this class I also learned some shortcut keys for changing tools. We used the exact measurements for the sketch up. I’m looking forward for pulling the walls of the walls and completing the model.
Healthy life quiz- How healthy are you?
I made a google form quiz about being healthy with my friends for ICT class. There are more than 15 questions to answer. While doing the quiz you might realize are you actually healthy. We thought about the questions together. We also hope that people will try to improve their health habits after doing this quiz. We also hope you also enjoyed answering the quiz.
Conclusion: To conclude, most of the people who answered this survey is healthy. Most of them always wash their hands, they like to exercise, they eat fruits and vegetables, dispose the tissue paper in the garbage bin after using it etc. However we also found some unhealthy answers like, most people enjoy eating snacks, most of them sleep after 11pm, and use electronic most of the time. There are a lot of the people think they maybe healthy. Overall, I think most of the people are healthy here and they might want to improve their health life and make it healthier.
People also wanted to improve their health lives. One of the ways to improve is to sleep earlier. They might want to adjust the time of doing homework and going to bed because most of them couldn’t go to sleep because of homework. Another way to improve is to eat more healthy food. Most people realize they aren’t eating much healthy food. The people also want to do more exercise. Doing exercise is really healthy, I would also suggest them to do it more. Surprisingly, some also are already happy about their lives so they don’t want to improve.

Chinese New Year Calendar
This is another publisher I made for ICT class. It is about Chinese New Year. I included the colors red and gold which is the main color of Chinese New Year which is also Chinese peoples favorite color. I also put the picture of a horse because it represents the year of horse. 2014 is the year of horse (last year was snake and next year will be sheep). The phrase Xin nian kuai le is Chinese which means happy new year, go on and say it to Chinese people! During Chinese new year, the married people will give red envelopes to younger people who haven’t married yet. In the red envelope, there are money. So kids will be saying happy new year to people and receiving the red envelope happily. Anyways, happy Chinese new year! Hope you guys get a lot of red envelopes.
My December Holiday
Happy new year everyone. I learned to use publisher this time in our ICT class. This is about what I did during the holiday. I had quite some fun during the holiday although I stayed at home most of the time. At home, there is my brother and my dogs so that’s why it wasn’t so boring plus, I also watched YouTube almost everyday some awesome channels like Pewdiepie. I played Fatal Frame and Pac-Man Fever in my Playstation2 with my friend. I also went to terminal21. On the other hand, I also had a bit fun making this publisher, hope I could improve the designing next time. Anyways, I hope you all also enjoyed your holiday!
My Fruitman
This is my fruitman. This is made by putting different fruits and vegetables together to make it like a human (or maybe something similar to a human like in the cartoon). I use Photoshop to make this. I learned in ICT class how to use Photoshop. I learn how to take out the white or the background part of the picture. The fruit pictures are all from google. I also learn how to do the background of this fruitman work. I did have fun doing this. Yes, I did a little mistake here where theres this long gray thing I forgot to erase it. So that is some mistakes I learned while doing this. I will have to make sure I erased the background really clean before putting the fruits together.
Computer History Timeline
This is the time time version of the computer history. I used the website called timetoast.com. The website is not bad there are also other time lines that other people post which can be really helpful. The same, I put from early history to the fourth generation. The time line clearly shows the year of the generation but not the dates. I couldn’t find the exact date. I also put some events too. This time line will show you the development of the computers. Computer History
This is a google presentation I made about computer history. This presentation shows early history to the fourth generation of the computers. I did put some pictures so that people can know how it looks like. While doing this presentation, I realized there are a lot of difference between the first generation and computers now (fourth generation). There are a lot of improvements.
Keywords and Search (By Annie and Soohee)
This is a ICT work we did. We are learning about the keywords and how to use it to search things. We learned that we need to make sure that it is simple and using the main words. This topic is about dogs. Sometimes it is quite hard to search with only one keyword. However, for this one when we search for the word dog, we found the answer because there was Wikipedia which contains a lot of topics about the dog. It gets easier to find out answers when we put a bit for keywords. Well, what I learned about from this assignment is it saves our time when we search. I think it was quite fun while doing this with my friend.
My Typing Web (Beginner done)
This is what I have done so far in my typing web. Yes, I have completed the beginner course (yay!) however, I still need to finish the other course too! Now I’m going to start on doing the intermediate course. I think I have maybe improved a little bit. While doing the beginner course, it was frustrating and fun at the same time. The letters that I had hard time to type are q, p, z, x and v, because I don’t use them often and they are in somewhere in the corner to that’s why it is very hard to me… but I did have improved on those keys because of the practice.
